Conservation Lands is a service based agribusiness focused on providing the agricultural community technical assistance in the communication, delivery and management of land and conservation initiatives aimed to conserve or restore natural resources for state, federal and private clients.

Federal, State and Private Technical Service
Conservation Lands is committed to providing technical services to federal, state and private conservation agencies to conserve natural resources. CL is an approved technical assistance provider for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). In today’s limited budgetary climate, CL is sensitive to the needs of our partners to develop cost effective solutions to put habitat and conservation on the ground effectively and efficiently.

Conservation Planning
Conservation Lands offers services to assist landowners in analyzing the bredth of conservation options available through and make sound decisions based on the applicability of programs and ultimate goals of the landowner. CL provides these services to private landowners, institutional real estate trusts, as well as, state and federal land holding agencies. Special emphasis is placed on utilizing incentive based programs available through conservation measures of the Farm Bill and other similar programs found through the federal, state, and local natural resource conservation agencies.

Ecosystem Services
There are several emerging market-based approaches to environmental protection which are poised to shape the landscape of conservation in the decade ahead. CL is actively working on projects to bring value to our clients through the sale of terrestrial based carbon offsets and the development of nutrient credits through the implementation of water quality improvement projects. Staff at CL bring a strong knowledge base of resource restoration to the evolving marketplace of trading eco-commodities in order to assist potential buyers or sellers of these commodities and ensure accountability and transparent marketable projects.
